Pay Per View Print Version

 Pay Per View was designed primarily for the Value Pack customers as a means of watching selected live programs. For the moment, only live sports broadcasted by Cytavision Sports 1 are available as PPV events. The service will be enriched with more events at a later stage.

The service is accessible through the following points:

Manually by selecting the position 400 using the remote control
When tuned to channel 400, press OK or the right arrow to see the program of the channel that is available for renting and then follow the Rental instructions.

Navigating through the "Main Menu"
Press MENU and then choose "Pay per View" to see the program of the channel that is available for renting. Then follow the Rental instructions.

Navigating through the "Program Guide"
While watching a channel press the blue button "Program Guide". Scroll up and down arrows to find channel 400. Then move the right arrow to find the programs available for renting. Select the program you want and click OK. You will see the command "Rent " as the first option of the menu. Click OK and then follow the Rental instructions.

Rental Guidelines:

If you try to rent a PPV event using any of the three methods described above, then by clicking the button marked "Rent" a window will appear in front of you with the following message:

By choosing "Rent" and clicking OK the above window will appear on your screen asking for password.

By entering the password of the active user and clicking OK a second window will appear confirming the rental of the program. This window will display the following message:

After completing the rental of the program you will see the green button renamed to "About / Info". Clicking this button you'll see information about the program.

Additional Information:

You will receive two reminders before the beginning of the rented program. The first will be sent 30 minutes and the second 5 minutes before the beginning of the program. The message will appear on your TV. By clicking OK "Tune" you will be tuned to the channel and by pressing "Cancel" the reminder will be ignored.

Any time of the day the PPV channel displays a list of programs available for rental in the next few days.

Rental of PPV programs could be performed up to four hours before the start time as well as during the live broadcast of PPV programs.

Customers that have a second decoder (Set top Box), could rent a live PPV program on one of the two decoders and the rented event will be available on the other decoder without having to repeat the rental process. In order to watch the program from the second decoder, you should restart it by removing and re-inserting the power supply.
