Cytavision to transmit UEFA Champions League and UEFA Europa League matches 2009-2012

Cyta is pleased to announce that it has acquired the Package Β media rights for the 2009-2012 UEFA Champions League and UEFA Europa League matches, which will be broadcast by Cytavision. UEFA Champions League
The UEFA Champions League Package Β includes 112 matches per season. Television broadcast of the UEFA Champions League begun on August 18th 2009 with the Play Offs round. Matches are broadcasted every Tuesday and Wednesday on Cytavision’s sports channels.

UEFA Europa League
The UEFA Europa League Package Β includes 190 matches per season. Television broadcast of the UEFA Europa League begun on September 17th 2009 with the Group Stage 1st week. Matches are broadcasted every Thursday on Cytavision’s sports channels.

Matches in both competitions are available online via Cytanet while highlights and goals are available to mobile telephone users via Vodafone live!

With these media rights, Cytavision is the only television platform to show matches from both top European club competitions, offering to the fans of the world’s top sport the best possible coverage of football from Cyprus and abroad.
